Kin,

Yes, the Mona Lavender here has been blooming for a couple of months now and no signs of slowing down. I have it planted in containers as well as a flower bed in the yard, and it pretty much blooms all summer. I'm always breaking off stems and sticking them in whatever container is nearby or directly into the soil in a flower bed. This plant will survive our winters if we don't have a freeze. A lot of folks talk about the pretty foliage, which is very nice ... but, oh those blooms!

Thank you for your comments. I really enjoy DG, as so many do. There are a lot of knowledgeable folks here and I've learned a lot about plants I've never even heard of. The Bloom of the day photo is one of my favorite features ... always has me googling for more information on different plants! I really enjoy every photo you post, it's obvious to everyone that you are a very talented photographer!

Have a great evening,

Lin

Lin,
I also take small cuttings and place them around the garden. They root easily and the wonderful foliage is a plus. I've had the one plant for 3 years now in a container and bring it indoors for the winter. It survives down in the basement with little light an little care till it goes out in Spring. It put on a wonderful display of blooms in September just about time for it's return to the basement! LOL
