Do you remember Trouper? He was the sweet little 13 year old my rescue group took in March.(No name, then Tooney, then Trouper and finally Harley!) He had 16 teeth out, an infected lump removed from his side and was doing very nicely. I thought he would be with me as a permanent foster but after two months suddenly a retired lady applied to adopt him and he went to his new home ( with a 3 year old shy 'sister') in May. He settled i quickly and was doing very nicely, even helping encourage his 'sister' Bubbles to start to come out of her shell.
Sadly this morning I have a message that he went into kidney failure a few days ago and treatment did not work so he was helped over the Rainbow Bridge yesterday.
He is the first foster I have had that I truly missed and the first for whom I shed tears!
