Would anyone like to try some micro mini sinningia seed of rio das pedras? These little babies look adorable in brandy snifers & such. I have quite a bit of seed.let me know

Hey ya Bonnie! I see you've had no responses here regarding your generous offer of seeds for this lovely plant so I'm posting here to "bump" the thread up to give folks another chance to see it. I have one little Micro Mini Sinn. still alive and I'm not sure which it is. I had both pusilla that I think came from Raingzer and Rio das pedras which I got from you.
The micro mini's are just so cute and easy to grow! There is no listing in Plant Files for Rio das pedras, so I did some googling for pictures in case anyone wants to see what this cutie looks like. They are teeny little plants and do well in little jars. I even saw a picture once of one planted in a thimble, that's how tiny they are!

I found a picture of mine when it was blooming a year or so ago.

Connie, You will just love the little micro mini sinningia. They reseed themselves so you will have lots of teeny little babies popping up from time to time if you don't catch the seed to save and sow later. Very sweet and easy plant!
I love the sinningias so I bet it will be adorable. I might need some advice along the way :)

Thanks so much for the wel-come here. I've been lurking around in here trying to learn, I really want to try my hand at AVs and all. My Grandmother could grow AVs as if it were her second nature.
I've always been alittle intimidated by them. I would love to be able to grow a few of these beautiful plants as they remind me so much of her.
