Will my crown survive indoors?

Yes, but why not plant them outdoors? I am in 8b/9a and mine are in the ground, growing just fine.

I have lots in pots on the patio, none in the ground. I am propogating one for someone who is severly disabled (quadraplegic) so I thought it would be nice for him to have by his bed but have never tried one indoors, what do you think?

It will need sunlight to do well - can your friend provide that?

I see no reason why they would not work indoors.

I grow mine indoors in a west window all year. Blooms non stop.
