Found these living back in the bush in Northern ontario. At first we thought these were vultures but they don't match any vultures we know of, the feathers come up too high on the head. Any ideas?

CLOSED: Vulture-ish bird?
Juvenile turkey vultures. The second appears to be in a building? They do nest in old abandoned buildings.
yea, they've taken up residence in an old sugar camp. We had ruled out Turkey Vultures because of how high up the feathering came on the neck and the white outline, we'd never seen that before and wondered if maybe it was some weird cross breed. We were actually worried the one was hurt but a few days later they both seem fine.
Thanks for your help
Yep. The juveniles have more head feathering than the adults.
