Wilfred! How ya doing? Hope you are well. I guess we have all been busy doing other things since there haven't been a lot of posts on this forum lately.

Yeah, Kopper King is a hardy hib but you have plenty over there to keep you busy :-)

Hi d! Love you're Kopper King! And one bloom is better than none (guess I better order seeds then, huh?) ;-)
Did you put any epsom salts on it? Cause the ones I put the salts on are doing better than the ones I didn't. Can't wait to see more of your blooms, guess I need to check out the rest of the forum for them. I've got some blooming their hearts out now, will get pics and post soon.

Hi dee, doing OK under the circumstances, but that's OK, been that way all my life. I've been quit busy for the past last month, been doing to many things at once, seems like I don't have much time to do the thing I really like to do but that's life. Hey I tried the forth quarter moon faze on a Friday lasts August 14,2009 wish happen to be a Friday, I planted only a hundred (100) cutting that day to try it out and it seems to work, all 100 cutting are still alive with the one or two leaves I left on them still green, they haven't turn yellow and fallen off like the usually do, if I knew this really worked I've would have planted at least two (200) more cutting. Just have to get ready for the next quarter moon faze Friday that is October 9, 2009 to plants some more cuttings. Forgot to mention I planted some other types of plants cuttings that day and there all doing well.

BTW, remember the cutting I said I would plant for you of my seedling "The Cross" to send to you, I think it almost ready to mail it to you. The other three cutting from my other seedlings "Little dee", "Jillian" and "Lauren" are not ready yet but as soon as they are I let you know. Here's a photo of the cutting I did for you of the seedling "The Cross", what you think of it.

wow, both deb and Wilfred in one day :-) how exciting!

Wilfred, that cutting of The Cross looks great but if you are going to send me the others, you have to at least make sure you are calling them the correct names...that would be a 'Jillian' not a 'Lillian' right? :-) lol

Disputanta, VA(Zone 7a)

Carolina, PR(Zone 11)

Dee, your Kopper King is gorgeous. So is Mango Tango. You need to send me your address. Your MFV is covered in roots. It was hot here yesterday....92 F. Will send them when they call for a week with cooler temps as I think that is better for traveling. Thanks for sharing your beauties with us.

Ah Wilfred! You are too funny :-)

deb, I'm lurking in the background...glad to see you back on :-)

Judy, you have dmail!

Carolina, PR(Zone 11)

What!, what did I say! LOL!

Hey dee I think "The Cross" would look nice next to your "Mango Tango", nice contrast in the orange color range. can't wait to send it to you so you can enjoy it like I do, matter of fact, can't wait for the other three cutting to be ready for you. You know I been was wondering how they will perform for you since your climate is different from mien, hope they do well and outperform themselves for you more than they do for me when you finally get them from me.

ok, that's enough you two! (so dee, how'd you rate rooted cuttings anyway?) (sshh don't tell Wilfred I asked)

Emerald Hills, CA(Zone 9b)

Well, he did name the three CVs after me and my DDs so I guess we rate! Perhaps if you asked him nicely he'd send you some of the multi thousand plants he is raising :-)
