Hi everyone
Hi Sheila, nice to meetcha. I mostly lurk here, but have cottage gardened many years. There's lots to learn here and great folks to get to know. I hope you join the piggy swap later this fall and then winter sow some seeds so that by spring you'll have tons of seedlings to play with. great wintersowing website: www.wintersown.org
Welcome Sheila (snooch50)
I grew up in Ontario, OH so I'm familiar with Fredricktown....great town! I'm here in Bay Village now and don't have the space for a true cottage garden but I love the look...!!
Mostly I aspire for the look...but end with a big old mess. Ah well...it's all good.
Was visiting Mansberg (mansfield) recently and took some snaps at Kingwood....
Welcome again.
Welcome!!! We love alllllll "green thumbers"...AND lots of ideas and photos!
Hi Snooch!
Welcome. I'm fairly new and am just starting my cottage gardens too. These people give you great advice and lots of encouragement. I have learned a lot just from looking at their photos. DG is definitely the best place for newbie gardeners to hang out. I know you will enjoy it here.

Sheila,
Our annual seed swap (piggy)is getting under way . It is a good way to get some great cottage garden seeds.
If you think it too much or have nothing to swap check out the free seeds for newbies in the seed trading forum.
Hope to see more of you and your garden here at Dave's
^_^

Welcome Sheila- you've landed in a friendly spot! Have you happened to read Christoper Lloyd's "The Cottage Garden" yet? It might be a nice one to add to your winter reading list for your cottage garden. Enjoy and good luck getting started! Patti
Looks like Sheila is no longer a subscriber.
And I was just getting around to saying hi ... bizah!
Strange. It says when she signed up but doesn't give an expiration date.
She might have only signed up for a month and forgot to renew, right? I think there's a month option.
Maybe she forgot what she signed up for. You think?
Sounds like something I'd do!
Me too!
Me, Three. I am so forgetful.
... uh, what were we talking about? ....
I think we all should all send her a D- mail and get her to come back? what you all think?
But if she isn't on DG anymore, she won't get the D-mail, right?
No, you can D-mail anyone that is a member, I d-mail my sister all the time and she has never subscribed,
I do mot know weather she will check her mail or not.
Sounds like a great idea, Gardengus. Although, if she doesn't check in at DG she won't know she has them. Would love to walk with her through the first garden process since I'm almost in the same boat. Guess all we can do is try.
Should we all send her a d-mail? If you do let me know and I will too.
I just sent a d- mail to Sheila
I figure it is worth a try
^_^
I will too.
Me too.
