I know the odds are slim to none (lens question)............

However I'm gonna ask anyway. Does anyone have and/or used the Zuiko(sp) ED 70-300mm f4.0-5.6 lens? I'm thinking about buying it down the road and wanted some input. I've heard people talk about "slow focus" with some lenses and wondered how this one would be in that respect? Sometimes I consider my 45-150mm a little slow, but I can take pics of race cars going 200 mph plus and a hummingbird hovering with no problem so I'm ok with it. I guess a slow focus is defined by whomever is using it. Just looking for some insight if anyone has used this lens. Thanks!

Not sure? I have read several things about the lense here from a personal owner of the lense; http://www.amazon.com/Olympus-70-300mm-4-0-5-6-ED-Digital/product-reviews/B000V72AXM/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1

No problem:)

That's the lens I use on my Olympus Evolt 500, specifically for birdwatching. I have not found any fault with it.

Thank you Gardenpom, that eases my mind some. I want it now, but I will not buy it until I have cash in hand.

It's too large a lense for indoor picture taking, so the low light does not really apply for me. Occasionally if shooting very early or late it may be a problem, but it bright light it seems to work fine.
