Hibiscus ID

Panama City, FL(Zone 8b)

I grew this from a cutting I took from a plant at my work. Does anyone know what it's name might be?

It looks like it could be a Hibiscus rosa-sinensis; the 'original' tropical hibiscus from China.

Carolina, PR(Zone 11)

I didn't think the original rosa-sinensis looked so pretty, would love to get my hand on one, love the intense color it has.

I did some more research and think maybe it is a Celia, Double Red. The description fits and the pictures I have found match. Any one have an opinion on that?

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

I have the double red called Cecilia. Looks like yours & have had mine for a couple of years. Had 9 blooms on it Mon. so it is a prolific bloomer & I know you will enjoy it a lot.

Could be...how big is the bloom and mother plant? According to what I've read Celia is a bush topping out at 6' and the blooms are between 4-6".

The mother plant was almost 6 feet, but they cut it back for some reason. The blooms that my plant are making are around 5 inches so I think this is what it is.
