The dahlia on the bottom is from that 6'+ potted dahlia, kind of a yellow with streaks of orange.
You could also call this my pretty Valentine.
Theme - Perpendicular - Big, bigger, biggest
What a Beautiful display Candee! Gorgeous plant material and great use of leaves to create your shape.
Nice surprise with the pretty Caladium at the back! Thanks for a new theme, your arrangement is stunning!
You can probably see on the backside where I taped them together, forgot to hide that, oh well, next time! Thanks for your kind words.
Oh nice! I really like that and your use of the grass! Do you have any cactus dahlias? Please show them if you do! A friend of mine used to have a big white cactus type and I just love them!
Theres an idea hatching in my brain so for this theme so hopfully it will be done hatching sometime soon....
Can't wait to see what you are hatching up there! I do have cactus dahlias - I believe you saw them on the island in pink. Never saw the white ones, sound lovely, I'll have to look for one.
Oh thank you! I do like the cactus ones :) I wish the Bishops Children came with cactus flowers. And I seem to have forgotten my idea, I just remember that it was pretty good!
And to get the sense of the height - had my son take this photo. The vase is on the fireplace hearth, about a foot high. The arrangement is about 5 feet tall. I wish I had a bigger yard - I would plant a huge patch of the L. philippinense. They produce a ton of seeds, but I have not transplanted the seedlings properly to increase the patch.
Now that is stunning and the arrangement is not bad either lol! Seriously that is outstanding and I love those anemones, what a neat plant!
