Roosters were to frisky

Bridgewater, ME

My three month old roosters were terrerizing all the other chickens, they were pulling feathers out of the pullets and holding down the bigger hens, they are just awful teenage boys,so they got seperated and put in another coop, they can see the girls just can`t get at them. They do like all that new grass I planted, but they will have to stay there untill someone comes to get them, they are FREE any takers???????The girls still have crooked feet in there with them but so far he has not bothered them. They can here him comming because he sounds like he has snow shoes on his feet are so crooked.

I know the feeling.. I had my share of hormones in the dang roos!

I have 2 hens that all the roos want to breed.. so I put no pick lotion on the hen's necks! Give em a break..
I should have had the video camera ready for the first time the roos got a taste of THAT!!! LOL

Tell me more about that lotion and where can I get it and does it really work?

Actually, I think they will calm down with time. Seriously. They are in a teenage hormonal frenzy stage. It seems that roos get tamer with time. Give them a little time to acclimate to their manhood.

In the meantime, this may help...
