Here are some of my favorite ones.
Beauty of new hoya leaves
Wow, Sunshine, you do have some beautiful foliage there! I had a small macrophylla variegata cutting a year ago but it didn't survive. It is so pretty. Your RHP is really Amazing! I hope mine grows up to be as pretty! Does yours get a lot of sun?
Obscura is very pretty too. I had one of those that didn't live long and love the foliage. Another I saw a photo of once that had really nice variegated foliage was (I think) pottsii? I have a variegated kerrii, small ... just recently potted it up with the solid green one.
Hope you will edit your post with the name of the (I forgot which one) when you remember it! I love the deep dark color in those leaves!
Great looking Hoya foliage!
Lin, thanks for your compliment! my RHP is hanging on a Croton tree facing West so it's getting hot PM sun.
I went out to look for tag on that plant but the tag is gone. = : ( I think it might be one of the macgillavreyii but not positive.
I think I will move my RHP to where it gets more sun. It's in the screened pool area but the screen does filter a bit of the sun. I just have trouble hanging stuff in trees because of the durned squirrels. They tore up some orchids and other plants last year!
beautiful foliage on your RHP. Do you grow them in a GH during the winter or bring them inside?
Growhappy, thanks! some of my hoyas stay out side all year long under the trees except when we have hurricane warning or really cold front warning.
Jan, I just love all your hoya. I have Red Buttons that I thought the leaves would look like yours but they don't have near the color of your RHP. I just have to get me a variegated
macrophylla and obscura soon.
