Sheesh, it is THAT time of year ............ Like we haven't had enough rain this year.
The thought of having to pick up and stow away all those pots from around the garden, in all this unreal humidity, is scary.
They are lining up!
I think they named the "C" storm this morning in the Gulf, too.
Fingers crossed!
Yep, just read where "Claudette" is hammering the panhandle. Tonight it looks like Bill might swing way north. A very good thing.
Oh jeeze .. it's been so humid and hot I've got seeds germinating in seed pods .. it's ridiculous! Hopefully A, B and C will be short lived or head out to sea .. I was reading on the weather channels tropics page that they were dropping down the number of storms for this season because a strong El Nino was building up.

El Nino is supposed to calm things down but it looks like rapid fire storms this week. That one in the panhadle doesn't look to bad to me, We've been getting high winds and rain ever other afternoon lately. Couple of inches of rain here a couple there. Think Savannah got something like 12-14 inches in a week.
Looks like Billy will be a big one, not coming here but a decent size hurricane.
My brain is beginning to float. It has rained here for 9 days and I am tired of it. Not complaing just tred of puddles. I have a cast on my leg and it can't seem to get past one or two a day. GRRRRRR
Lavina
Oh bummer about the cast! I remember when I broke my elbow during the month of August and how awful having a full cast on my are was with all the heat and humidity .. I was about to get a hammer and beat the cast off my arm was itching so badly.
I was collecting seeds this morning and have noticed that seeds are actually germinating in the pods!

And if we have a hurricane I have to help man the hurricane evacuation center and can't leave the county. Go away Bill
Lavina
People like you have my greatest admiration; that is a tough job.
Hugo's anniversary is coming up and I will never forget the direct care workers who stayed on the job helping others, never knowing if their own homes still stood or if their families were safe. Heros all.
