We have heard a bird at night here. We could hear it coming from quite a ways and it just got louder and louder and finally we heard it pass the house. But we cannot identify the bird. The only way to describe the sound is to compare it to a mouth harp, or twanger, or like a type of spring... like a mattress spring???? It was kinda scary!! Any suggestions? I have listened to just about every nocturnal texas bird, even migrating birds, and we have yet to come across the sound.
weird bird noise at night??? Or bird call.
