:-), poor you, moving during July/August to Columbia which is the hottest place in the state. Have faith however, it will cool off and you will love the people there; they are the best anywhere.
Football season is upon us and you will be required declare an allegiance to either USC or Clemson. No kidding!

Pardon me for joining in this SC thing... I think Leslie you ? was will it stay in the 80's...short answer...probably not. Even here in NC, this is unusually cool for this time of year. Correct me if I'm wrong football fans;> but wouldn't the same be true for you? Not the lime to lead a poor lamb astray, LOL!!

Sorry to tell you it will probably be October before it really cools off. Just pray for the humidity to lighten up a bit. It has been a killer summer.

As far as temps it's going to be 80 for a while, which is fine by me I just wish the humidity would drop off. That makes the biggest difference, low humidity and 70 degrees right now and I would have to go put a sweat shirt on. Seriously.
Go with Clemson! Clearly the better choice.

Yippee! I'm loving it.
That is one of the best parts about SC. When it had been too hot you always have these surprise coolish days to refresh you. Then, in the winter when it is too cold you wake up one day and it is 65 and sunny. Always a pleasant surprise.
Well let's not tell her it's probably gonna be 90 degrees at the end of the month.

Yes .. it will be cooler in October .. we sometimes have "Indian Summer" though. Last year we actually had a hard freeze at the end October in the Low Country which was very unusual. You're at the other end of the state so you won't be a susceptible to unseasonable extremes.

Just changed that. The fact that I can't type does lead people to think I'm less than intelligent. Lucky I have such a high opinion of my self not to worry.
