Hi all, I found this today at my local greenhouse. (I gotta stay out of that place or I'll go broke quick!) No name of course...just a price tag. I really like it and it seems very robust and in great shape. I also got my first African Violet today too. It was lurking in a corner softly calling my name...haha! ChuLin This pix is with flash.

Thanks, Gran, I was very pleased to find it. They actually had several different kinds...including Merry Christmas which I eventually want, but they really didn't look that good to me. This one is almost a minty color green. The old leaves are really big. this will be the biggest begonia I have. Not a clue what it is either. Oh well! ChuLin

Daylily; I thought it was a great find too. It is holding up fine and no problems; its really pretty but a bit bigger than I'd thought it would be. Surprise! I am losing the Red Robin rex that I bought (the second try at it, and the last). It has 4 little leaves left...and I have one leaf I'm trying to root in water. Boo Hoo! ChuLin
Hope this one does well for you. The one I got from Peppers died on me too, however I knew when I took it out of the box the day I got it, it was probably headed for the graveyard. However, the good news is the one I got from Taylor's (Cowardly Lion) is beautiful and putting on lots of new leaves. I think I would like to have a Northern Lights again, but will not be ordering one from Peppers.

Yes, I will. I will take one tomorrow if I remember, and I should, because I probably need to water the container plants. It is supposed to climb into the 90's Tuesday. That will be more like good old Missouri weather. We have had a beautiful summer here. We have had rain along all summer and the temperatures have been wonderful. We have had a few hot days along, but very few.
