Hi folks. Can someone identify the bird in the picture.
A friend says that it was perched on a raspberry bush on the edge of a wooded area.

It's a type of Waxwing, Resin can better confirm this for you.
I would guess that it is a 'Cedar Waxwing'. Both the Cedar Waxwing and Bohemian Waxwing inhabit British Columbia but the Cedar Waxwing has a more yellow belly than the Bohemian which identifies more with the photo provided.
