Ok so I've seen many people note that they grow their avs in solo cups, are these the styrofoam or hard plastic kind? Just curious because I have a large supply of dixies cups to keep in the bathroom for my kids when they brush their teeth. You know they have pictures on them. Would these be ok to use, say when I'm transplanting my babies or would it just be best to use the larger solo cups??

Solo cups?
You want the plastic white 3 oz Solo cups. Most grocery and big box stores carry them. you can also get clear ones, but they are more work to label.
Walmart carries a better 3 ounce than Solo does.............I think. The actual Solo cup is real shiny and hard to cut or put holes in them.........
I saw those at our SuperWalmart Gail and was wondering if they were better, now I know!
They really are the best ones to work...........
I disagree Gail--I find the white Solo's easier to work with, so I guess my point is, preference is quite indiviual. You might want to experiment!
