OK, Barbara - you know I want one! LOL I will look at your 'wish' list and see if I have anything you don't have.

I just checked your wish list - I have a medanilla cutting that I stuck day before yesterday - I have a large plant and if you want cuttings, I can trade with you. PLMK and thanks.

wanted to know if you would want a alocasia boa for one of these
btw how big are these? plmk

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Mamajack, it is a large tree. The tree has flower spikes as long as my arm or longer. One of the most beautiful trees I have ever seen. In 8a, it will need protecting until the trunk grows thicker.

Mortez, Thank you for your offer but I already have boa. I do love alocasia. they are 19-24" rooted. Dug up and potted about two months ago.

bward...........if i got one of these and if i brought it inside for years how long would it take for it to get to the size i need it to be so that it can live outside here? lol i guess i want to know how fast they grow?

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

They grow fast and are pigs for water and fertilizer.

really...for water?

Fate, TX(Zone 8a)

i guess i am wanting you to give me actual measurements. lol. like how big does the trunk need to be before it won't die here? i don't even know how big these get but thought it was a shrub. but if it's a tree does it get 12 inches diameter? 36"? so whatever it gets to at adulthood how big does it need to be to go in the ground in texas if you know? i need to go look this plant up but would like to hear your personal anecdotes as well.

do you have one in the ground in hattiesburg?
