This stuff showed up in some planters, it looks like an orange thread or string. There are no leaves of flowers that I have seen.
orange string like vine
That's it, I have been very careful to get it all out of the planters, I do not want that in my Daylily beds. I sat anp spent 2 hours removing it and must have missed one tiny piece becauseit started to come back.
I had some that came in a container and I didn't know what the heck it was, and I never saw it again. It's such a strange plant, I remembered it when I read about it years later.
I had to go through those 2 planters again and remove it, if it comes back again I will be trashing the plants. I really do not want this loose in my garden I saw a very large patch of it in the park over the weekend, and it had everything nearly covered
do remember that if you compost the soil it will spread to your garden the best thing to do is make sure to loosen the soil and get all the little roots out or garbage it
Oh no everything in the pot will go in the trash, no worries there.
