I just bought this at a nursery who had picked it up in Miami. The tag said A. Portora and I wanted to check to see if that was true!

I knew you could tell me if this one was one of your babies! ha ha ha. A local nursery had it labeled as "Portidora" which i assumed was the Portora. I got it for like $50 so i hope that was a good price if not, oh well I hope they use the money wisely. It was the only one they had and being the way I am... I "HAD" to have it.
That's a nice specimen; some people do label them "portidora", which is incorrect. They do like a good regular fertilization; I hope you put in some composted organic matter when you planted it because from the looks of the soil, you have a lot of sand.
