AV Ceramic Pots

I know some of you do and some of don't use the 2 part ceramic pots, but I was at Walmart yesterday, and they had them for $3, they looked to be 4" maybe. I may go back and get a couple, I do like to use them. They keep me from overwatering!

i have them also & my plants do wonderful in them. i have several.

I wish the ones they had were just a little bit smaller. My Sister (the Queen, of the yardsales) found me like 4 or so this year. got them for like .50 each!! I have a couple that were gifts too, but it takes a bit before my AV's get that large. Have you ever put Streps in them?

i did put 1 strep in them, but it did not seem to like it, so i only put violets in them.

ihettenhausen, there are smaller ones, made for mini's etc - I came across them online a few times, if you google self watering pots, it shouldn't be too hard to find them.

jmp24, yes I have 2, the ones at Walmart are only $3 not shipping! On the market place here, their is a gal that sells them too, I have a frog that is adorable from her and another one thats called a waddle pot, they are too too cute. Laura H

I found out the hard way, Bonnie, that streps don't like wet feet all the time like avs do.........
