I know this isn't the game forum but I believe I have a better chance here than there with this.

Hubby's main entertainment (read:keeps him away from my 'puter) is his games. XBox 360 and PS 2. He's wanting to get a PS3 since I'm getting sick and tired of having to send back the 360 every few months for repairs (on Microsofts tab of course) What a poorly put together console!

Anyways, what I need to know is if PS 3 utilizes the controller better than PS2 does? If you have a trigger it should be the trigger for crying out loud!! Not the blasted X button...know what I mean? I can play and enjoy any game on the XBox but the controller configurations on PS2 drive me insane!

Is the problem resolved on the PS3?
