Lost most of zucchni to squash bugs can I plant peas there

I had really nice zucchni for most of the summer, but then squash have recently took over. Would it be wise to sow peas there this year for fall?

If it's cool enough, peas should be fine. You could also put out a fall crop of lettuces, broccoli, or beets.

Thanks for your help I just didn't want the squash bugs to eat my pea seeds.
