tomato skins

I am canning lots of tomatos and wondered if the tomatos skins would be okay to put in my worm bins. Or would they be too acid? They are loving the watermelon rinds I put in there.. wowzer !! But wondered about tomato skins.

I'm reading other places that worms love them. I have a lot also and have been adding a little at a time. I have to watch and not overheat my bin in this summer heat. I freeze the rest to add later. The seeds sprout in the castings. :)
