DH had found a wonderful recipe online awhile back and AGH I've lost it! I've tried a basic search under that title and would have thought the way it had been typed up would be easily recognized online but it's not like the ones on the whole first page of recipes (I know he'd scrolled through them nixing ones we were missing an ingredient or two for).
The one we had used regular flour (not cake flour), didn't call for bourbon or shortening (it used real butter).
If you have an awesome pineapple upside down cake recipe would you share it? (I can google plenty of them but we tried one to substitute for the lost recipe and it just wasn't as good---not quite as sticky and sweet).
If you have one that fits the bill of one I'd lost, even better! To be sure I wasn't posting on an old topic I looked up "Pineapple Upside Down Cake" threads on DG and here is a cross reference---none for the cake but plenty with pineapple.
