Marcgravia species: can anyone ID?

Gainesville, FL

I received these cuttings in a trade a couple months ago, mounted them on cork, and they are growing well. The trader was unsure of their identity, and I am not really very familiar with Marcgravias. Hoping someone can ID them

Looks like Marcgravia rectiflora, Shingle Plant.

Gainesville, FL

Which one, the one of the right or the left

Keaau, HI

The one that is on the right looks like the mature stage of the plant.

Is it possible that the smaller leaved plant is a juvenile of the same species?

No they are very very different

The shingle plant that I saw at Fairchild grew up, not down.

I finally bought on and killed it immediately. DERN...

I'll get a close up
