Sorry its been so long since I checked in..just have been terribly busy since I got back from up north.
DS is doing so much better, he still has to have the kidney stent removed on Thursday, but probably will be going back to work next week. We all are hoping this is the last of the kidney stones for a long time. I think he will finally go to a nutritionist to see if he can help prevent them by regulating diet.
I tried to catch up on everyone's doings, but cant say I remember a lot..just finished with the cruise pictures, Bonnie..Sure looks like you and Claire had a wonderful time. What a bonding experience you two had.
Debbie, glad you checked in, sounds like a great road trip. Its the kind I would love to go on..see the country and meet the people that up till now have been online friends. My road trips go up to ND and back and we are usually in such a hurry we dont have much time for stopping to smell the roses. We did stop by Susan (9 kittymom)'s place one year, that was great, she has a lovely place out in the country, and so many planting areas full of flowers and plants....and of course..so many kitties.
Sandy, sorry about Andre having to be on a diet, I know its for his own good, but having spent most of my life on a diet, I know its just not that much fun..and how do you explain it to him that "its for your own good..." I have a cat that needs to lose some weight..but with so many cats around, its impossible to control what one of them is eating. He is not getting his treats anymore..DH used to feed him too many treats, so thats the one thing we CAN control. Those Temptations treats are sure addictive to the cats, we call it 'kitty candy' around here..my Floozy thinks she should have some everytime I sit down and there is any kind of table near...she starts scratching on the bag and looking up at me, little beggar.!
Adina, love your pictures, your garden looks wonderful, your dishes look yummy. I think your place would be one of the stops on any road trip I make. Once they build a road to Europe, that is..LOL
