In the fourth picture from bottom what is that tree? Some sort of spruce? Would it be hardy in zone 8/9?

Yes, it is a Blue Spruce. I'm not sure how spruce trees do in the warmer climates

I don't think that beautiful blue spruce would grow very well in my climate, I'm sad to say. Enjoyed your pictures.
