LOOKIT!
In the spring I mourned the passing of my passy, which I left outside, planted in the ground, with no protection other than the shelter of a porch foundation. I pulled the dead plant and moved on to work on other things in my garden.
Tonight I moved a pot, and look what was lurking behind it. The vine set no fruit last year, the only thing I can think is that a portion of the root system close to the house foundation somehow got under the driveway concrete and managed to find enough heat to overwinter. Although it took a bit of time for it to regenerate, now it has sent up this happy little shoot.
:)
She's about a foot tall right now, but we still have several months of growth left. She may even get to bloom before the season ends.
Woohoo!!! :)

Passiflora caerulea survived after all!
I was wondering about planting mine outside in 6B, I guess if you can do it so can I. Thanks for the picture.
You should try the Maypop variety which is supposed to have good fruit and is very hardy. Dies to the ground in colder regions and comes back in May.
I have that one also
