I like very much when they change color.

That is soooo pretty. Have never seen one change like this & I love it. My want list increases every time I visit this site.

I love it too. wonder what causes the change? soil? the nature of the plant itself?

Nice photos Alice. The color changing hibiscus are a very good thing.

Thanks, I remembered Robert talking about putting this one in a hanging basket so I did that and it has worked out very well. I should have several flowers open tomorrow so I'll take a picture of the plant then.

Beautiful Alice. How long was it between the phase 1 photo and phase3?

Very nice Alice.. I love the color change. Thanks for posting it

Just a couple of hours. It opens that salmon color, turns yellow by midday, then sort of beige by the end of the day. It is so hot right now the flowers are only lasting one day. It will be interesting to see what this one does in the cooler weather.

I also remember Robert saying once no one wanted them and he couldn't give Chartreuse Rose away. My how things have changed. I would be standing in front of the line :-)

Yep, they are real droopy plants. I put mine in a large mixed basket and it meanders through the other plants well. It is not an upright grower at all. A basket of all (maybe 3) CR's would be fabulous.

OMG! I can't believe just how outstandingly gorgeous your hib is Alice, its like having three distinctive hibs in one, and the best thing is that all the color changes are so beautiful. I don't know how anybody could pass this one without getting one for themselves.

It's on my list now, thanks for the pics showing how beautifully different they can be. Was that all in one day?
