Robins gone already??

North Augusta, ON

Haven't seen one in a week...I hope it isn't gonna be an early winter since we haven't really had summer yet.

Same here. They might just be in deep woods keeping cool till it's time to migrate.

They'll be moulting. When shedding old and growing new feathers, they can't fly so well as usual, so keep a low profile to avoid predators. Best place to find some at the moment will be any trees with berries on (e.g. cherries).

Thanks Resin for that info. So glad to hear that we aren't going to ge an early winter...9 months is plenty long enough ^_^

I'd guess they'll still be with you for another two months

Interesting, I saw one today on the hill behind my house.

Mine were gone for a few days as well, then today they were back taking over the bird bath as usual. As far as migration ?here? goes some will stick around through winter, but they will stay in the woods.
