If you google Hedychium Coccineum? Scarlet ginger lily there are a lot of web-sites that come up and the pictures look nothing like my Ginger or yours. I will say yours and mine do look like the same Ginger.

Yes, but you posted on another thread of mine Hedychium Coccineum Scarlet ginger lily and the plant there is solid pink? Forgive me if I am getting confused.

I did not mean to confuse, I have multiple pictures of my H coccineums, taken at different times of the day in different lights...but, I think the post you are referring to may have been a google photo. The one above is from my garden. I have a cluster that appears to be reverting/evolving or possibly even crossing since my yard has tons of pollenators. I have a few different members of Zingiberaceae and a few species of each growing out there....same thig happens with the orchids. Sorry for the confusion, it was not my intent.
