Is there a cat breed called Davenport?

There was a woman at the vet's office the other day. She told me her cat had wooly hair like a sheep.
I must have misunderstood her, cause I went to google it and didn't see any.
I was curious what it looked like because it was in a crate and I couldn't see it very well.
Anyone know what the real name of the breed is?
