Yes,i was wanting to know what is causing the leaves on two of my brugs to look like this?
Question!!!
Hmmmmm
too much water.. to little sun.. no cow manuer on planting..
it's hard to say what combination of things it is.. for me
I was thinking this the other day too in the other thread.... They look like they need more sun and food.... When they are stressed like any other plant...The bugs will attack too...
I ran into some bad potting soil early in the season. As soon as I changed the soil they bounced back.... Just a thought..... So many variables... Good luck let us know
They do get evening sun.I'm going to spray some Permethrin on them just in case it is bugs causing it.
Wallaceone brings up a good point. When I can't get my usual potting mix from the wholesale house I had used "Expert"potting mix from Walmart. In the past this has been pretty good stuff but this year it is a mucky mess.Even adding extra perlite doesn't seem to help.It can kill young plants by holding too much water next to the roots. In other words,it doesn't drain well.I have switched to Miracle Grow but even it needs to have more perlite added.Sand or pea gravel might work for those who don't have access to bulk perlite.
Cody, why not try to swap them around so they get morning sun also. Continue to protect them from the hottest part of the day, but let them get as much sun otherwise as possible.
I'm going to pull them out from under the tree to get some sun.I will get some big bags of Miracle grow and change my soil out and i do have perlite that i can mix in with it too.
I was worried about why the leaves were curling under around the edges of them.
Thanks everyone, for you information,it will really help.
