This is a cool one, Liz. I have never seen it before.

Thanks Kell! I got it from Annie's last year, I'm not sure if they still have it or not. I don't know if it would come true from seed, but mine's got some pods on it--they may be dried up and the seeds already fell out, but if you want to try some let me know and I'll see if I can collect some for you.

Thanks Liz. You are always so nice.

I do not have room for it sadly. But I am admiring it from afar. LOL

Liz, how big is the bloom? I bought some seed on ebay but have not planted them yet. Planted Mina Lobata last year & was so disappointed because its bloom was so small you hardly knew it was blooming. Sure looked big on the packet of seed!

They're not that big--if you're looking for something with showy flowers like trumpet vine or things like that then this is not in that ballpark. I've never grown Mina lobata so I can't tell you how it compares to that, but if I had to guess, I'd say the blooms are maybe a half inch long? If you look at the other picture I just posted of these it gives you a better sense of the size of the flowers http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/255427/ Or here's a pic of it last year next to some Diascia if you're familiar with the size of those flowers http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/195019/
