This is a plant I received today from Peppers Greenhouse...I did a 3-plant order last week. One was Queen Olympus that they said was out of stock although it was listed as shipped on the invoice. Anyway, this one is Passing Storm, which doesn't look too good to me. Its in a 4 inch pot (complete with its on baby centipede which promptly got smushed by me) but looks rather pale and spindley to me. I sure hope it makes it...I will try my best. The other plant I received is a pink peperomia, which has alot of white and barely some pink on the baby leaves. It too is spindley looking to me. ChuLin
New Begonia
Thanks for the picture of your P Storm...I hope mine makes it and will look like that! Are they sturdy plants, or thin and sort of spindley? ChuLin
Pretty sturdy and easy to propagate by leaf cutting.
OK, thanks. Do you put the leaf cutting in water or soil? I have some I'm am trying in soil, but so far nothing is coming up. I would like to try a leaf from this one also. Thanks, ChuLin
Either way. You could try some in water and some in soil and see which does best for you.
Your Passing Storm is a beautiful Begonia Butch.
My Passing Storm died. RIP ChuLin
