Laser treatment for vericose veins

I have a 66 yr old friend who use to water ski/swim often. She owns a lake side cabin where everyone in her family plays all summer long; but w/ her horrible vericose veins she no longer gets into swimming suit. Any success story or 2 w/ the newer laser treatment?
