Aimée checking in

Georgetown, TX(Zone 8a)

Hi, can I play in your garden? I came here ages ago when there was a handful of people, but couldn't remember where it was. I don't recall signing up, but if I did I'm now a twice member. Rebecca from rebeccasgardenweb kept nudging me to come over here, and as soon as I got enough energy to turn on the puter I came. Just back online after about nine months of cancer recovery, and hoping to keep recovering until I can garden again. I live about 20 miles north of Austin, Texas, and have the poorest excuse for soil you'll ever see. But I do love wildflowers, so it's not all bad. Love iris, love gathering seed, love to share. The gardens look pretty bad since I haven't been able to maintain them, but if you want some one to two year old seed, mostly natives, to try to salvage, I have them. I am slow, don't have a lot of energy yet, but I should be able to work it out by spring!

Hi Aimee, we traded last year. nice to have you here at Dave's - the best garden in the Universe....

Pebble!

So you are the same! I think your first shipment was lost. Did you get a good one and did it thrive? I think it was passiflora "Incense", one of the few things to come back after my illness and the drought. I kept your info taped to the wall because I wasn't sure it was a completed trade, and my son saw "Pebble" and said "No one's actually named that!"
If your vine made it, you probably have them all over, but I have more now if you need it. So good to come here and find nice people, thanks to all of you.
