Re-doing the bed

I have a flower bed I want to re-work, it is filled with all type's of bulb's and "?? Tuber's ??". How can I store these while I am re-working? Can I put them in Perlite?

Heya! I imagine your project is long since underway, but just saw this & thought I'd chime in...

I just dug up the edge of a bed, because I have a border of species tulips and crocuses that looked too crowded this past spring... I'm planning to put a portion of the bulbs back in and find another place to plant the rest. Meanwhile, I spread the bulbs out in a mesh plant tray so they could dry out a little in the house where it's cooler. I figured as long as they didn't get moldy from being wet, they'd be fine out of the ground for a bit... and I could probably wait until fall to replant them if I kept them cool & dry.

It's like a to-do list that never get's done. Havn't done it yet,but thought that's what I could do. Thank's for the input.
