Hi Kell and can I say you've got a great name there ho ho ;-)

Glad you like the pic, I pulled over on a highway full of kamakazi campervans to get it and was nearly run over but hey it's all worth it.
Cheers

Hi guys, yep I'm another Kelly. The world needs more of us!

And hi palmbob, I was just pointing out that this poor denuded grove shows no regeneration, unlike the one around it which were composed of adult and juvenile trees that had the benefit of bush cover. Farmers allow their stock to trample and degrade these groves and since they're visible from the road, they suffer a lot of plant piracy as motorists stop to jump the fence and dig up any young ones that DO manage to germinate. Ah, clean, green New Zealand. Not so much!
