Christmas in July

Lake Charles, LA

Hello i am a newbie- but addicted. My ? is- if santa can only give me 5 plumies, which should i ask for? I would like strong scent and fast to bloom-- oh and world peace. ^_^ thanks Liz

Vera Cruz Rose
Celadine
Singapore

I'll let someone else deal with the World Peace (oh and the other two plumies)

Baton Rouge, LA

I would add Dwarf Singapore Pink anbd Slaughter Pink to Hetty's list. Both are prolific bloomers. Although both have pink in their name, they are not alike.

Mulberry, FL

Aztec Gold for newbies I say buy the cheap ones if you kill them no biggy. Aztec Gold is pretty smells of sweet ripe peaches very nice scent and should be decently priced. Ebay is over run with rooted cuttings cheap since you don't have any you don't have to worry about bugs or disease I buy from there but i keep them away from the ones I already have keep an eye on them inspect them good on arrival no holes were there shouldn't be no kidding on this no matter who you buy from. and your off good luck with it :) This is not aztec gold but shes pretty and has a good strong scent

Penang Peach for color and fragrance, Singapore, Celadine, Slaughter pink for profuse blooms and scent, and there is a purplish red called Muang Dang, that has a really strong scent.

I agree that Singapore is a MUST... I love the Aztec Gold... the Celadine has also been very reliable for me...

Here is Vera Cruz Rose. It has the most intense rose fragrance.

My top 5 for you, given that you like strong scent and reliable blooming habit:

Singapore
Celadine
Kauka Wilder
Kimo
Grove Farm
