Hello to all the familiar faces!!! Had two questions that I thought you Ginger Gurus might be kind enough to assist with (please and thank you):
1) What are your favorite gingers for fragrance?
And
2) if you had to pick from the following list - what would be your top 4 (in order) for scent (if you would describe their scent i.e. sweet, spicy, wafting) - I already have the white and yellow butterfly ginger.

On the subject of fragrance...
Chantell I have all of these except Betty Ho and Dave Case have not bloomed for me yet to compare. In all honesty most hedychiums except coccineum(no smell whatsoever) have the scent of gardenias.
Kai Yang which you didn't mention is supposed to smell like coconuts.
Now! Tai Monarch REALLY does smell like honeysuckle like PDN describes it. I would go to the source of Plantation Gardens though so you wouldn't have to pay PDN prices.

Gabby - thanx for your response - I have limited space so wanted folks thoughts on which had the best/strongest scents. And Plantation Gardens is who I'd purchased from previously - was very happy with him!!!
