Reed's Greenhouse Sale on Leaves

(Taylor) Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

They seem to be more expensive than some other sites I've ordered from, but they are on sale right now, and I just couldn't resist buying these two that no one else seems to offer:

Senk's 'Say What?"

Did you know that Steve has some excellent AV instructional videos on you tube?

Thanks, I did not know that ;0)

well, my order came in and I am pleased. The leaves are very large, and he included two extra of the Senk's "Say What?" leaves, and also included two Ruffles and Lace leaves as a bonus.

yay!

I really like the foliage on the 'Say What?'

It is girl foliage, but the scallops are deeply split or divided between each scallop. I think it is neat. The picture of the bloom looks pretty neat, too. I hope it blooms as pretty as the picture.

I was thinking at first his prices were a bit high, but the leaves were quite large and very healthy and firm, and with all the extras, it was certainly worth it. I'd definitely order from them, again

I was trying to point something else out by taking this picture, but you can see the foliage of the say what in this picture maybe more easily than the otehr picture...very curled and almost gnarled.

Very nice! The leaves look so healthy. I am starting to like the more ruffled leaves.

I definitely have a "thing" for ruffled leaves, and also ruffled edges on the petals.
Many of the ones I have now, have both.

Wow--that's a gorgeous leaf! What is it? Can't make out the writing.

It is Leprechaun's Daydream. It is the curly form, from Blossoms, Birds and Butterflies.

There are apparently two different forms floating around(one possibly a sport of the other?) One is a plain leaf, and the other has extremely curled leaves.

I've also seen two different flower forms of Leprechaun's daydream, so I am wondering if the plain leaf yields the more plain bloom, while the curly leaved one yields the fancy frilled version?...all a guess at this point, but I do have both, and am anxious for blooms to figure this all out :0)

It is by far the frilliest one I have, or have seen so far :0)

If you order from Karin, you just have to specify that you want the frilled one, not the plain. She has both.
