In a few weeks my vegetarian sister (no fish either, but not ovo or lacto) will be traveling with us in a car to a wedding in South Carolina. There we will be staying in a hotel with breakfast. There will be at least three days of "wedding stuff" and all events are meaty ( barbecue, etc).
Do any of you have any ideas how to feed her on the car trips, I am mostly worried about protein, of course. And what can I make EASILY for the barbecue and hamburger events as well as the wedding dinner itself.
She understands the difficulties and she is not a picky eater, just no meat.
I am always in a tizzy when she comes, but this situation is particularly daunting for me, esp. since DH has no understanding for this.
