Welcome! My son used to go to Church camp in Lapeer. Very nice town. We're glad you're here and hope you get a chance to sit down and have a chat with us about your garden.

Thanks all for the warm welcome! This time of year I barely make time for anything but working out in the garden, but thought I could learn a lot here and hopefully meet some people who are garden-obsessed like me. Just joined and surprised not to find a separate forum on Bee Balm...anybody growing any? Michelle

P.S. Loon--was it Camp Lael? My friends are the directors there. I love that place!

Hi Michelle,

Actually it was Michigan Christian Youth camp in Attica which is in Lapeer county. I went there as a teenager and I'm 59. It's open year round. I loved winter camp.

I do grow bee balm. It's one thing the deer don't bother here. Love the stuff. Mine is bright red.

Hello,
And welcome.
Another Michigan gardener. We are getting a lot of new Dave's people this year.
That is good to see.
Have an enlightening time here!
Julie
