Her's a photo of a orphaned Blue bird I raised. I don't know what happened to the parent's. There was 4 fledgling's Petie was the only one that made it.

Wow he is beautiful! How old were they when the parents went missing?
They were 16 day's old. The female disappeared first then maybe 3or4 day's later the male. I fed them in the box until they fledged. I sat and watched Petie fledge hoping that a bird would try and take care of him,but no luck.
awww....great job but don't abandon Petie yet..he still needs help. Poor thing....
