This is one of several crosses I decided to grow out the entire pod so I could chart the diversity of blooms generated by a single cross. So far I have ended up with several uneventful single whites but today I noticed this nice sized double. Believe it or not the outer skirt is a ten pointer! I should know if it is going to color-up tomorrow. Regardless, it should be an interesting one to watch this summer.
I know I have at least 50 more seedlings from this cross that should bloom this season. I'm bound to get color in some of them!
Orange Sunshine x Pink Smitty
It would be interesting if 10-pointers were the norm for this Brug. Please continue to post photos of all its siblings.

looks like you have a winner, wow 10 points, I bet it's beautiful in person, 50 seedlings, congratulations, Fred that's a pretty Brug

Oops! This cross is actually Orange Sunshine x Pink Perfektion not Pink Smitty! I have both crosses crowing and must have had my glasses off when I first glanced at the tag.
This seedling is going to need some time to get its act together. Bloom #2 ended up being a large single!?!
It is still a nice looking bloom though and one thing it has going for it is the fact that the blooms are thick walled. This bloom did not melt even though it is in full sun with temps in the low 90's.
This should be a good breeder even if the blooms stay single. That double will be in the genes and the thick walls are a big plus,
