plants and bulbs to Canada

south central, WI(Zone 5a)

I have tried to get plants and bulbs to Canada, filled out the no value/no soil/bare root form and it still did not work. Would like to get two trades there this fall, any new tips in this area?

Hi ya, Marcia! I'm afraid I have NO encouraging words in this area. My last 2 trades there, were returned. I gave up!I would hazard a guess,...That NOW,...Things would be even MORE impossible. Maybe someone else had better luck?

Well ,,you might ask Marianne57 b/c I sent a plant back in late August.Filled sm info form. She said it got there fine and I,myself didn't have any problems.Only thing, I was told it couldn't go priority. Jane

i just sent a pkg to canada and fibbed on the value/contents paper....i was told that if you put plants on the pkg they will send it back or something...so she told me to put on there that it was crafts.....and if you think about it, this is my hobby so crafts and hobby go hand in hand...lol...i know its not the same...but she got her pkg, another pkg sent on the 11th(i didnt know they would stop the planes)and she hasnt received her box but has received others...so try putting crafts on it...i did and it worked once....:)

good luck
cindy

I wrote 'plants' on my box and I added 'gift'.So,wonder if that made a difference???Different folks,different strokes,I guess,as in the PO employees.Jane

Marcia , my priority stamp got sent back, so i remailed it. I guess not only does it have to have stamps in it, but you have to put them on the outside to. LOL oh well it is again on its way. Goofy me!
