This is my very first post on Dave's Garden. I imagine that I will spend most of my time here in the Water Garden forum. My primary areas of interest are marginal aquatic plants and planted aquariums. It looks as though the members have real nice pictures and experiences to share. I can't wait to look around some more.

Welcome! I am nearby you (sortof) - I live 35 mile NW of Chicago. I heard that there might be some amazing water gardening stores in and around your area-can you confirm?

I haven't much in terms of water gardening specifically here in Madison. I understand that there is a small garden center with nice pond plants in Oregon, about 10 miles south of here. There is also a hydroponics store, Paradigm Gardens, just down the road from my place with a lot of cool gardening products.
